Support built around online study

Instruction, advising, and student services are designed for adults balancing coursework with employment and family obligations.

Student services

Personal Learning Advisor

Each student is assigned an advisor at acceptance who assists with registration, course sequencing, and the Individualized Learning Plan, and who monitors progress each term.

Academic advising

Faculty hold scheduled virtual office hours and respond to course questions within two business days. Advising for degree completion is coordinated with the Registrar.

LIRN E-library

Students receive access to the Library and Information Resources Network, providing full-text journals, e-books, and research databases at no additional cost.

Technology support

Support for the learning management system, account access, and assessment tools is available by email and telephone during published business hours.

Career services

Resume review, interview preparation, and job-search guidance are available to enrolled students and graduates. The University does not guarantee employment or a specific salary.

Accessibility

Students requesting accommodation for a documented disability should contact the Campus Director. Reasonable accommodations are determined individually and do not alter essential program requirements.

The online classroom

All courses are hosted in POPULI, the University's learning management system, available 24 hours a day. Each course provides a syllabus, weekly modules, assigned readings, recorded and live instruction, discussion forums, and assignment submission with instructor feedback.

Regular and substantive interaction

Faculty initiate substantive interaction with students on a weekly basis through announcements, graded feedback, moderated discussion, and scheduled synchronous sessions. Students are expected to participate in each week of instruction; participation is documented for attendance purposes.

Identity verification and academic integrity

Students access the learning management system with a unique institutional username and password issued by the Registrar. Designated assessments are administered with remote proctoring or on campus in Jacksonville. Sharing credentials, submitting work prepared by another person, and the undisclosed use of generative artificial intelligence in graded work are violations of the academic integrity policy.

Books and learning resources

Required textbooks and learning resources are included in tuition and are delivered electronically through the course shell at the start of each term. Students who require a printed format may purchase one independently.
