Licensure
Northeast Coastal University is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education. Accreditation status
Northeast Coastal University is not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. Licensure by the State of Florida is not accreditation.
Transferability of credit
Credits earned at Northeast Coastal University may not transfer to another institution. Some or none of the coursework completed here may be accepted elsewhere. The decision to accept transfer credit rests entirely with the receiving institution. Students who intend to transfer, or to apply credit toward a professional license, should obtain written confirmation from the receiving institution or licensing body before enrolling.
Financial aid
The University does not participate in federal Title IV student financial aid programs or Florida state grant programs. Students are responsible for tuition and fees directly or through an institutional payment plan administered by a third-party servicer.
Employment and earnings
The University does not guarantee employment, a particular position, promotion, or level of earnings to any student or graduate. Career services provide job-search assistance only. Statements of potential career opportunities in program descriptions are illustrative and are not a representation of placement.
Certification and licensure examinations
Certificate programs may prepare students for third-party industry certification examinations. Those examinations are administered by their sponsoring organizations, carry separate fees, and are not offered, scored, or awarded by the University. Completion of a program does not confer any professional license or certification.
Ownership
Northeast Coastal University is a privately held institution operating in the State of Florida. Institutional oversight rests with the President.
Non-discrimination
The University admits students and administers its educational policies, programs, and activities without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
Catalog and enrollment agreement
Information Catalog Volume 1, published July 2026, together with the signed enrollment agreement, constitutes the agreement between the student and the University. In the event of a conflict, the enrollment agreement governs the terms of the student's individual program.
Ask before you enroll
Prospective students are encouraged to request a copy of the catalog and enrollment agreement, and to discuss total program cost, refund terms, and credit transferability with an admissions representative before signing.
