Mission

The mission of Northeast Coastal University is to equip students with the skills and competencies that employers value in today's fast-paced global business environment. The University brings together academic faculty and industry professionals so that instruction reflects current practice in management, technology, and enterprise.

Institutional purpose

The University serves working adults, career changers, and recent secondary-school graduates who require flexible scheduling. Programs are structured around measurable competencies, applied projects, and written communication, and each student progresses under an Individualized Learning Plan developed with a Personal Learning Advisor.

Instruction is delivered predominantly by distance education. More than fifty-one percent of academic engagement in every program occurs online through the University's learning management system. A limited number of designated courses include a required in-person component delivered at the Jacksonville campus.

Campus and facilities

The University's administrative offices and instructional facilities are located at 7050 Melvin Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32210. The site provides classroom and meeting space for designated in-person course components, advising appointments, proctored assessment, and student records administration. Facilities comply with applicable local building, fire, and safety codes.

Governance and ownership

Northeast Coastal University is a privately held institution. Institutional oversight rests with the President, who is responsible for administration and compliance, working with the Chief Academic Officer on curriculum, faculty qualification, and academic policy. The Campus Director and Registrar maintains student records, enrollment verification, and transcript services.
