Program Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Economics degree program is designed to prepare students for careers in business, government or public policy. The program also provides students with the foundation required to pursue graduate studies in the field of Economics.

Program Overview

Throughout the Bachelor of Science in Economics degree program, students will develop an understanding of how people, institutions, and nations create and manage scarce resources, make choices by comparing costs and benefits, and act purposefully on those choices. Students in this program will have an opportunity to apply economics and econometrics to the analysis of topical issues and policy options.

Admissions Requirements

Individuals seeking admission to Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree program must provide evidence of completing a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
International students are required to submit proof of graduation from a foreign institution comparable to United States secondary school.
